REFLECTION
This image is a personal favorite of mine and was created entirely in-camera, with no Photoshop work beyond minimal spot retouching. The photograph was crafted using a magnifying glass as a stand-in for a mirror, allowing for a unique composition where the viewer can see both through the glass and the blurred reflection of the king. The use of frosted glass and translucent materials adds a delicate, almost fragile quality to the scene, enhancing the emotional tone.
The image conveys a symbolic narrative—a child looking up to their father, grappling with the weight of expectations and identity. Through its layered composition and thoughtful use of materials, the photo invites viewers to reflect on legacy, perception, and emotional vulnerability.
